More than 50,000 copies of this
colorful brochure have been distributed at cost
by classical organizations in the past two
years. Teachers and parents may order up to 200
copies each from the ACL’s TMRC. The brochure
features photos of JCL students in togas, Roman
engineering feats and testimonials to the
benefits of Latin by Coach Joe Paterno, Teller,
and John Donohue. The value of Latin for helping
students learn English and other languages is
highlighted. Latin students are exposed to a
world class literature, and many related
studies. They gain a foundation for careers, and
access to a cultural heritage shared by citizens
of many countries of the world. The price is
$.30 each, 25 for $6.25 or 100 for $23.00.
Classical organizations and teacher groups may
order 500 or more from Virginia Barrett,
